Goldminds Canada brings mindfulness to our next generation of leaders

Toronto, ON, July 2, 2021 – Children across Canada are coming together virtually to build mindfulness habits with Camp Goldminds.

With two unique themed weeks, the virtual mindfulness camps are designed to teach children aged 5 to 9 how to be resilient, improve self-regulation, and boost self-confidence all while having fun with other children. Unicorn week taking place July 5 to 9, focuses on self-confidence and celebrating what makes children one of a kind. Superpowers week, taking place August 9 to 13, focuses on resilience and celebrating children’s strengths and unique qualities.

Goldminds Canada introduces these two camps to support their live virtual mindfulness classes and school programs. Since 2020, Goldminds Canada has reached more than 1,000 children virtually with upcoming plans to offer in-person sessions in the GTA.

“After already two successful camps, there is a lot of interest from parents for additional mindfulness resources this summer,” said Cynthia Arscott, Founder Goldminds Canada. “With our ongoing environment, parents and teachers are eagerly looking for support and resources to address the rising mental health concerns in children. It’s been a challenging year of virtual school, and the Goldminds Canada camps are purposefully designed to support children’s mental health as they transition back to school in the fall.”

Both camps are limited to small class sizes with a maximum of ten children to provide individualized learning and hands-on support.

Parents, caregivers, and teachers can learn more about Goldminds Canada’s camps, programs and free resources to try with their children on the Goldminds Canada website: goldmindscanada.ca.
